Mazaheri Properties, together with Champion Hotels, has acquired University Town Center in Norman, Oklahoma for $82.25 million. The 416,766-square-foot Class A retail power center is 99% occupied and shadow-anchored by Oklahoma’s highest-grossing Super Target and by Crest Foods.
Ranked the #1 shopping center in Oklahoma by Placer.ai, University Town Center draws more than 12 million visits annually. Its national tenant roster includes Academy Sports + Outdoors, Kohl’s, Ulta Beauty, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, Michaels, DSW, and Petco, among others.
The acquisition marks the fifth tenant-in-common ownership group assembled by the Mazaheri partnership, which has acquired more than 1.2 million square feet of retail space over the past three years.
“University Town Center is exactly the kind of irreplaceable, dominant asset we intend to own and operate for the long term,” a Mazaheri Properties spokesperson said. The center is featured on its own dedicated property site, with leasing handled directly by the Mazaheri team.
